Our practice concentrates on quality eye care for you, your family, and your friends. We specialize in the examination of adults and children, diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases, glaucoma, external diseases, dry eye therapy, cataract consultation, refractive surgery consultation, Corneal Refractive Therapy to help slow down the progression of nearsightedness, pre and post operative LASIK and IntraLASE care, contact lenses, and all your eye wear needs. Our doctor is available to our patients 24 hours a day. If you have any emergency after hours call 309-589-9503 and your call will be returned immediately.

If you have a problem please call. Our staff will forward the nature of your problem to the doctor. The doctor will then return your call as soon as possible.
YOUR EYE HEALTH EXAMINATION
Dilation of the pupil is necessary for a complete visualization of the eye and its related structures. Although it is not necessary on every visit, it should be done frequently. If it is needed, a 20 to 30 minute wait is required after your drops are applied in order to dilate the pupil completely. Your vision may be blurry for several hours. However, a new medication is available to improve your vision after dilation, but in some cases you still might need someone to drive you home after your examination.

FEES
We strive to keep the cost of our care affordable while maintaining high standards of care. One way we do this is to eliminate billing for routine care. Therefore, we expect payment at the time of service. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
INSURANCE
We accept OSF, Medicare, Medicaid, Blue-Cross/Blue-Shield, Caterpillar, MutualMed, Methodist, Proctor Preferred, and VSP (Vision Service Plan).
CANCELLING YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please allow 24 hours to cancel your appointment so that it may be offered to someone who may be waiting. You should plan to spend at least 30-45 minutes with the doctor at your first visit.
